Epic Ender dragon pet or legendary wolf pet for slayers? (2024)

Currently my plan is to buy an epic Ender dragon pet and a legendary wolf pet but now I am wondering, is a legendary wolf pet something to go for or will the epic enderdragon pet be good for slayers? Additionally, does the epic wolf pet work well with just svens or all slayers?

Edit: I recently got the dragon pet.

Oh, does the combat XP boost work w/slayers? I know the xp boost potion doesn’t work with slayers (unless they changed that)

The legendary ability boosts all stats of sup by 10%. For tarantula and Svens, you probably won’t be wearing superior but if you do, 10% isn’t much. It is the 50strenth, 50 crit damage, and 10 crit Chance is what makes it good. Also there is a aotd buff if you are using that.

they fixed that and so you need a lot less xp for spawning the boss and if you have a epic e-drag then you are strong enough to kill each t4 in sec and changing to it and killing it then would take longer then just using the leg wolf

About a week ago I got an epic ender dragon pet and I am now working on slayer gear. I still haven't gotten a wolf pet but I am looking at your reply. I am not sure what you mean by the wolfs ability works well for all slayers. I get it may be great for svens but really thats the only slayer-directed perk besides the combat XP (Which I plan to use).
In an earlier reply someone suggested to use the Wolf for the combat XP so the boss spawns quicker and then switch to dragon pet. Dragon pet will do more damage than wolf.

as I said switching probably adds more time then it takes away from the boss kill I assume that you are decently equipped if you have a epic drag

I'm talking about the combat xp boost, it requires you to get less kills in order to spawn a boss.

I get what you mean. I can switch out the pets within 2 seconds. If anything I would always have the wolf pet out but I feel that with the dragon pet, I could kill the boss in a shorter amount of time with the drag pet than it would take to not switch the pets out.

Oh yes. That would be the only reason I would use the wolf pet tbh. (Maybe for svens, would have to do damage tests once I get it)

I agree the 3rd ability is the best for slayers but at the end of the day, the ender dragon pet gives the most damage naturally (Not from ability) on both levels.
I would not say the 3rd ability is what makes the legendary dragon pet good and the epic bad because. With an AOTD and an epic enderdragon pet, you can pretty easily get the AOTD to do more damage than a 50m midas.

You can tank alpha's easily (With Superior) with the leg wolf at lvl 50.

leg wolf lvl 50 the server laaged so the kill time could be improvet but you can see there that it help a lot lmao

It would help as u wouldnt move and plus the defense for spiders is great.
