Mon June 3, 2024: Kristina accuses Blaze of betrayal, Natalia and Ava talk about her daughter and Kristina, and Jason urges Diane to protect Sonny.
Friday’s GH recap: Jason was shot at following a fight with Sonny, and Portia and Curtis were concerned Heather’s case could be re-opened.
At the warehouse, Jason returns fire as two men shoot at him.
He hits one and the other escapes.
Anna shows up and asks who sent the shooters. He has no idea unless she sent them.
She claims she’s only there by coincidence. They hear a siren.
At the Metro Court, Sonny tells Carly that Jason is his enemy and what happens next is on him.
She demands to know what that means?
He refuses to explain himself to her.
She thinks he may want to hate Jason but still trusts him. He’s never had a friend like him.
Sonny doesn’t feel like baring his soul. He’s there to see Blaze.
Carly assumes she wants her to defend him to Kristina.
She urges him to let his daughter come to terms with things on her own.
Going behind her back will only make things worse.
He claims he knows what’s best and walks off.
Brick calls and fills him in about the shootout.
Jason and Anna go to the PCPD and he makes a statement about the shooting.
She asks if anyone has threatened him lately…like at the reception.
Diane pops up and asks to speak to her client.
Anna exits and Jason tells Diane she needs to warn Sonny that the cops will come to question him.
Sonny calls and asks to meet her. Jason urges her to go and stop Sonny from incriminating herself.
Reluctantly, Diane agrees to meet him.
Before she goes, she reminds him that his former boss could be planning another hit on him.
Anna returns and Jason wants to continue talking. She explains the guy he shot was some low level guy.
She’s sure he knows who he worked for and prompts him to admits it was Sonny.
To her, it looks like he has a death wish.
Anna can understand loyalty but thought he was smarter than this. When does this end?
She suggests the person he used to know no longer exists and maybe never was who he believed him to be.
A cop brings in the burner phone found at the scene. There’s only one number.
Diane runs into the warehouse where Sonny is arguing with Det. Bennett.
She chases the cop off and enters the office with Sonny.
She asks him if he was responsible for the shooting.
“I had nuttin’ to do with it,” he says.
She needs to know all he does. He insists he doesn’t know anything.
It was just a break-in and not his problem.

Blaze and Kristina are having salad and cake in her suite at the hotel.
She wanted to show her that she’s not alone after what happened at the reception.
Kristina says that talking to Dante helped a lot because he struggles with some of the same issues about their dad.
She used to think the only person who understood her was her dad but now she has Blaze. She’s just glad Molly doesn’t know what’s happening.
Blaze admits she knows. She told her by accident. Kristina is furious.
Her girlfriend didn’t want to make this a bigger thing than it was. Kristina is sure this is really bad.
The fact that Molly didn’t say anything about this when she saw her makes it even worse.
Blaze tries to calm her to no avail.
Kristina accuses her of betrayal and storms out.
When Kristina gets downstairs, she runs into Carly.
They talk about the baby and having baby brain.
Kristina cares about the baby that’s not hers.
Carly thinks she’s amazingly selfless and the baby will always be part of her…just like she will always be part of Sonny.
They sit and discuss the fight at the reception.
Kristina feels stupid for defending her father in the past.
She keeps playing the violence over in her head.
Her eyes are wide open and she will never forget.
She asks Carly if she ever really knew him.
Carly says she married a complicated man but he was never downright cruel.
Kristina wonders if he’s changed.
Carly doesn’t know about that but knows he loves his daughter more than anything.
She’s going to have to think about whether she can live her life without him.
In Sonny’s penthouse, Ava is trying to record a speech when Natalia shows up.
Natalia is dropping off some booze in thanks for Sonny taking her to the wedding. Ava asks about the reception.
They chat about what happened and Natalia explains she left early.
Ava is sure it was nice for Sonny to see their daughter’s happy.
She fills Natalia in on Kristina being a “problem child” over the years.
Natalia admits that her daughter’s relationship is unconventional and could be scandalous.
Ava doubts that and tells her that Sonny supports every aspect of his daughter. Natalia is not of the same mind.
She doesn’t care about them being gay but thinks they’re not serious. Ava disagrees.
They debate the pregnancy and Natalia thinks they aren’t taking it seriously.
Ava thinks what they are doing is beautiful.
Things are getting tense. Natalia decides it’s time to go and leaves.
Once she does, Ava notices that she accidentally recorded the whole conversation and smiles to herself.
Brennan is taken back to his bed at General Hospital following a walk.
He’s cuffed to the bed and the guard is called away.
As soon as he’s alone, Brennan breaks free from his cuffs and grabs an orderly outfit from a drawer.
He sneaks into the stairwell and meets with Valentin.
They joke about him stabbing himself to get there.
Jack explains that Carly visited him and let slip that the FBI are investigating Pikeman.
Cates is after them and sent Jason.
Brennan urges him to leave Jason alone and not draw attention to himself.
Valentin urges him to relax and Jack warns how easily he can fall.
Jack reminds him they don’t know what Jason knows but Valentin is sure that Sonny will take him out before they need to worry.
Valentin reminds him they aren’t to talk to each other until Jason is taken out. Jack accuses him of stalling.
He wants out. Valentin needs him to be patient a little longer.
Jack sneaks back to his room.
As Valentin stands in the corridor, his phone rings. He answers, immediately asking if it’s done.
There is no answer and he realizes something is wrong. It’s Anna on the other end of the burner phone.
